Good evening all :bigsmile: Don't get on very often anymore, been a very busy boy and just got tinternet at my new place only to have it pack in two days later:@

Any road I have some pictures for you!!, no Mel not those, thats a whole different forum. There's about 3 afternoons work here. Progress has stopped due to funding. The track plan you see is temporary, just to play with for a bit as I will need 3x30 degree crossovers, a 90 degree crossover two right hand points and a few bits and bobs of other track. I have two of the crossovers sorted for pay day so we will see what occours. Anyone who knows me will know that I like the railway to be fully integrated into the garden, however all I have is a bare yard and I'm not allowed to build anything permanent so what you see has been achieved with some crates, pallets and mipex matting, a bit of track from L G & B 1 and Mike (the mouse killer) Duffy. This railway will allow end to end (with a small train) and roundy roundy. When it's done, there will be four crossovers, four tunnel mouths some double track a bridge and four track station!! Insparation from, DTSteam, Mike, Round and round and Southern comfort. You'll have to wait for the final plan but It's a corker and yes it will fit, tried it today :bigsmile:.

Looking good for 3 afternoon's work - I wish I had the energy to do a similar amount in such a short time:thumbup:
 
That was easy Keith but to achieve somthing like yours is a different game, this is just really a train set in the garden, not really my thing but "IT'S A RAILWAY" and my hands are tied somewhat at the moment.

Thanks chaps, the trackplan I have in my head will be amazing and a slightly longer run than the one you see now plus all the afore mentioned bits :bigsmile: Certainly a move away from what I would normaly try to achieve but will be fun. Thanks for the few people of offers to help it is very grately appreciated. It is my intention to put the plants into bigger pots and sink them into the pallets and dare I say it maybe fake grass!! (Can't believe I'm saying that!!) More to follow in a couple of weeks;) :bigsmile:

Billy is now the CME and I'm the lakky!! at the other railway. He has plans!!! There is a possibility of a running day at LG&B1, J the boys and Mike have put quite a lot of effort into fettling it as it has been very neglected of late.

Yes, thats what I'm wondering about - I managed to use two 30 degree crossings and a 90, but three ! Watching this with interest.
 
Dave, I could do with your input at some point with a few shunting games. Will rope in the fearless Mouse Masher and Grumpy Sharples(just because he makes me look cheery!) too hopefully. I need a fienidsh plan, you can live your shunting dreams through me :bigsmile:. I might give you a visit one evening on the way home from work, will call first tho' or try to get you all up to mine the first weekend we have any spare time. Bit busy at the mo' tho'. Ta.
