Level crossings

Are there any G SCALE outdoor level crossing with lights and perhaps sound available ? I can only find an Lgb set as the only level crossing available.

Playmobil did one but tricky to get these days, I think some USA Mfg’s have done them with lights.

Oh yes forgot about either that or a Piko one. Never bothered with them as only one place on my line really suitable for a xing, the other place just would not fit. Mine is just a concrete bed with a few commercial signs and the arms are I think from a Bachman Big Hauler set, modified some.

There is a 3D printed version with lights, maybe sound at a later date. Can be automated with nothing more complicated than a pair of reed switches , a similar Bespoke Module in operation to the Massoth Train Detection Module is out for testing and will be available in due course.

Level crossing lights to UK specification, Amber, then Wig Wag Red lights, operation either via a DIY control board or a purpose built populated PCB.

A NEAG (North East Area Group of the G Scale Society) collaborative project with other interested parties.

Available as, kit of parts, part assembled, or fully assembled and tested, details and full documentation are in preparation for publication in a future issue of the G Scale Society Journal.

Will send you a private message sometime next week to discuss further, unfortunately will be unable to attend to this week, NEAG personnel are already stretched with attending and operating a display at the Shildon Exhibition, the G Scale Society AGM in Wales, and the funeral of a long standing dear friend and partner in crime down in Cornwall.
