With another local G scaler we made some corrugated iron using one of the above pictured paper crimpers. The local craft shop sold sheets of ali made to use with the crimper, and as the sheets were cheaper than cans of drink by a long way (my favourite beer comes only in bottles anyway) we used the sheets. To get the best results we cut the sheets into strips with a craft knife to match the scale length of iron (say 8ft) and ran the strip through the centre of the crimper. Found it was a three handed job, lucky there was two of us!
