After not been bothered at all with the garden railway last year, mainly due to the weather, I have now found some new enthusiasm, after getting the garden tidied up, and railway sorted, along with a few new purchases yesterday at York. Mainly my new 45ton Bachmann Rod Driver.

the 45 tonner was from PS hobbies, and the Harz Kammel is my dads, from Dragon G scale.

Yes they are, but.....................

some time ago, Mike (Beavercreek) posted a photo of a D&RGW narrow gauge trains alongside a D&RGW standard gauge train.

The 45 tonner was a 'universal soldier' running on a variety of gauges by just using different trucks. In standard gauge terms, it's a small loco, but like the Kamel, it's accurate to its scale (of 1:20.3 for the 45 tonner)
