Iphone Tripod ?

I have been using my Apple iPhone 5s to take still and moving pictures, videos for those of you born too late to get it, . Since I am older, but not too old, I don't know the nomenclature of some accessories for the phone. When taking videos, how's that, I hold the phone in hand. Is there some sort of tripod that I can buy ?

Dan, yes there are a whole heap of iPhone 'tripods'. Have a look at the website https://photojojo.com/store/. They have a bunch of stuff that will work.

The tripod I bought was originally designed for an iPhone 4 but my six fits into it as it has sprung loaded jaws. It wasn't made by iPhone though - I bought it for less than 5 quid from Aldi - who are still selling them now in the UK

I use a small gorillapod that can be a tripod or wrap the legs around any convenient post or branch. It also has an app for free with various framing and timer options not on the standard camera function.
