Has anyone got one they want to part with? I'm more interested in the body than the chassis or motor side of things.

Send us a PM if you can help!
Thanks

Sorry to hijack your thread Scott, but if Ivan from IP happens to read this, can you make this kit again please - maybe re-design it to fit an existing, readily available commercial motor block?

Can't disagree with you Mel! Perfect World Models make something similar but I prefer the look of the IP tram if I'm honest, it looks less stretched.

It does not look too difficult to build the Ivan version directly from scratch. Looks much better as pictured compared to the Perfect World picture on their website. Nice project for the winter.

Anyone have the outline size of the completed IP model? If not I will have to nag Ivan for the details as I would want it to drop on his chassis.

Cheers

Ivan, (IP Engineering) has mailed me this morning to say that if 10 (ten) kitbuillders are interested in building the tram he would be prepared to manufacture the 'short' run of kits. He also states that he would be prepared to provide them at THE SAME PRICE as the original kits.

That's what I like about some of our G/R suppliers, where support seems to work both ways, and service goes with the products provided.

So nine more interested parties needed for a Shelley Tram production run.

Cheers.

Count me in!

I would stake my credibility on this: if you were to offer a Baldwin Steam Tram body in kit form you would be swamped with orders, I'd take a few for a start.....

There is a built one for sale in the classified ads in the latest Garden Rail. The seller wants £200 for it.
