Image resizer malfunction

Narrow Gauge 1/12th scale on 45mm</br>Quarrying &
Dont know if its just a coincidence, but since I downloaded SP3 for windows XP, my resizer doesnt work.
I right click, click on " resize pictures", dialog box opens with choice of size, but when clicked no resized pic appears, I have looked in other folders in case its getting moved somehow but cant find any.
So I went to "add remove progs" , which offered " repair" but that made no difference, even when restarting computer, so re downloaded, but still the same.

anyone else had same probs?

You don't say what you are using as a re-sizer. I would ghet myself a photo editing package if I were you. Currently I use Faststone Image Viewer - it has maost of the functions you need and it is FREE. See http://www.faststone.org/index.htm

or Irfanview....free works in WIN2K, XP, VISTA and WIN 7.

Yes. Wiped it and reloaded 3 or 4 times and gave up.
I now use Irfanview, it's slightly longer to use but it works! :bigsmile:

Sorry, its the microsoft windows power toys 'Image Resizer'
what I liked about it was 2 clicks & job done, no opening another programme
 
hip hip hoorah, perserverance pays off.

After playing all week with the pc ( all to do with the video editing) suddenly the pic resizer has started working again
