Its a lot easier of you take the roof of as you do when chipping a croc. No need for fiddleing with the wires and twist arround the driver when assembling and you don't have to turn the loco upside down.

And stick the decoder with double sided tape to the inner cabwall on the speaker side. Same applies for the croc.
