Take one plastic (!) boxcar.
Take one paint stripper hot air gun.
Voila....one wrecked car.:rolf:
Or straighten out this one. A job for Minimans, methinks

Would have been more realistic on a metal boxcar, not convinced about wood though.
Yes, that's what I thought. If it had been a metal bodied car it would have looked great as a crash victim, maybe resting at the bottom of a ravine. But wood just don't bend like that.

It's possible that the builders secured the wood from a rubber plantation.

Yea, but if it fell down a ravine it would bounce back up wouldn't it? :rolf::rolf::rolf:

:-those werent regular mushrooms were they:-

Full marks for the "sales pitch" though - the description of this UNIQUE piece of rolling stock made me grin;)
If the wheels & bogies were left on it (same as in the heading photo) they might have been worth having at the asking price, but looking at the additional shots they're obviously not included.

Yep, it would look reasonable on a metal bodied boxcar. A wooden one would just be a pile of splinters methinks8D

Never ceases to amaze me what gets sold on eBay. some guy was selling threaded rod, washers and nuts a while ago and he sold some.... Then people will pay good money for water in bottles......

10 out of 10 for trying to flog it, I thought it might have been a cheap way to get 4 metal wheelsets but he has already thought of that!

D'ya reckon if it was subjected to more "extreme heat exposure" you could straighten it :confused:

What Vic said about the mushrooms applies here

Sorry guys, I've just had my tea, and that cars' made me a bit lemon squeezy :bleh:

Bet someone buys it though....

Well someone must want it. One bidder put on 7 bids but has still been outbid!

I dunno, I might put in a bid, look, it says "....................runs smoothly on 45mm track". Can't be fairer than that, eh?
