Hunslet Jack At The Dingle Leigh Railway

Very nice indeed!

Thanks for the kind words guys! I am very fortunate that David puts such a huge amount of effort into getting the railway looking good for our annual movie. It is quite a challenge to stay on the track sometimes but worth all the effort. One of my favourite bits is the steam billowing back out of the tunnel :-)
Cheers

Chris, it was great meeting you at the Peterborough 16mm show on Saturday, and talking about "Lizzie". For me the combination of the Slow-Mo for lovely slow controlled movements, plus the FX chuffer to enhance the sound, is a winner and makes me seriously consider live steam in preference to DCC for my garden layout, which I am only just starting!

Yes indeed Jim - it was good to meet you too. The thing is that if you are on 45mm, a Slomo should fit with insulated wheels so you could do both!
Cheers

Chris, is it really running that slowly, with that rate of 'chuff'? - Especially at the end of the video.

Beautiful.
Steam effects, bumblebee, and cranky track all add to the charm

PhilP - yes it really is running that slowly - there were no half speed or dubbing tricks in the editing. As you can see, the gradient is pretty steep at that point and the loco had run out of steam. I forget if I had the gas too low or if it had just run out. The SSP Slomo allows incredibly slow running and the Chuffer with FX control gives that wonderful soft chuff with the steam plume :)

Paul - you said it - a seriously cranky track! As you can imagine we did have the odd derailment :-o
Cheers
Chris
