8) Yes, hot stuff, all right. Not only was it live steam to the fore, but the Wairarapa was the hottest place in the country according to this evening's weather bulletin.

Sorry been a bit busy over the week so it's taken a while before I could share my enjoyment of the day.

Gavin's Climax didn't get to run as Warren's railway is set up for battery power or live steam only.

But there was no shortage of trains to run

It's a thing of beauty and runs well too.

With the NA's run completed it was time for me to get Manawanui ready.

I don't normally get to take too many photos of my own loco's in steam at a running day.

But I got cunning and gave Gavin the transmitter, so he got his first taste of driving live steam, and I got to take photos.

Good fun all round I had a great afternoon, well worth the trip. Thanks Warren
