Here are my Hoppers taken approx 8 months to build originally planned as a slate wagon set but after a daydream at my desk one day I realised that living in the shadow of the one of the biggest granite quarries in N Wales they should reflect the locoal industry. so they were born .

I decided that they would have LGB couplers on the outer wagons and three link chain on the rest of the wagons. In doing this some of my locos have been retro fitted with dual coupling so they can shunt the wagons etc.

They have been liveried to give the appearence of well worn but overhauled wagons (Rumour has it the wagons were bought form the much unknownand now defunt Craigllwydd Sychnant & Rowen Mineral Railway but management denie this ) They are great fun on the move as with the slack in the couplings they are very protypical of loose coupled wagons remember them ! has anyone got an old toytrian caboose for sale as I think with a bit of modification it would make asuitable brake for the train !
