Somebody posted a link to this over the weekend but I can't remember who or whereabouts on the forum. Its a brilliant piece of work!

Even the wife and kids were impressed, I never thought that would ever happen with anything railway related

Excellent mix of modelling, video and CGI. Nice storyline, great ways to include sponsors' logos and it all centres around an American model railroad.....BLISS......just bliss

What a great video fantastic looking layout loved the flying birds:thumbup: what every modeller dreams of moving figures

Simply superb, if a little sad:crying: In the tragic sense of the word of course.

Wow, that is fantastic.

Sorry to duplicate your posting Neil, somehow I'd missed it.... but at least a few extra GSC friends have now enjoyed it

Regards

Ah! The benefit of forgetting is that you learn something at least twice!

i thoroughly enjoyed it!!

you know in looking at the track i thought it HO
but in looking at everything else-i thought i nscale
??? thoughts????

and
in adding the animation, it became more obvious how little trash, street debris andother real life stuff was present
not a complaint, but a 'conspicuous only in its absence' sort of observation

It could be 'N' but judging by the detail in the buildings and also the difficulty in getting good filming of a small scale, it is probably HO
The lack of human detritus, I think, gives it a more 'dreamy' atmosphere. Also the there are a couple of neat little anachronisms like the 'Back to the Future' DeLorean parked in the street.

I would say HO - just a little too much detailed texture in some of the models to be N gauge - especially the figures and things like tyres (sorry tires, it's a US layout!). I say this as an N gauge modeller for the last 3 decades, but I may be wrong of course!

and of course the truck marked 'browns flux capacitors"
me too (an nscaler) -
but i thought so much was similar to what ive seen in n scale-including some of the new ready made and painted micro vehicles etc-

but i think youre right-the figures are better looking /detailed
but so many of the box cars etc had molded on ladders etc -which i havent seen in many years
