I seem to have a mental block. I have fitted 12volt bulbs in all the lights, and the fire box, Need to set the voltage to 9volts, and I'v forgotten how, I'v read the instructions, but since my stroke I seem to be getting them confused. Can anyone help please. I think dementia must be setting in.

With a Massoth decoder....

A value of 12 should give you 9v (a value of 9 should give you ~7v)

Each unit is 0.75v (24v / 32 units = 0.75)

Thanks to you all.
But I still seem to be having problems, I found a failed connection in the lead to my programming track, and since replacing it I seem to have all my cv's mixed up.
I use a Massoth Central Station 1200z, with a Dimax navigator, I am trying to fit a Loksound XL decoder into a Bachmann 2-8-0 Big Hauler. My problem now is that button 9 which should turn lights on and off, Just starts and stop a machine that sounds like an electric drill. Button 7 is at half speed until pressed then full speed is obtained. The motor lurches on start up and on stopping. I don't know what I'v done and am now very confused. If its possible for anyone to read the CV's in there loco and let me know I would appreciate it, or at least tell me where i went wrong.
