Hi Everyone. Yes it might seem like a simple task, and so it should be. After all, I’ve installed lots and lots of ESU and Zimo decoders in the past and never had a problem with CV’s etc…until…
Fitting a LGB 55021 and a Massoth emotion XL #8150001 to two LGB locos both of the 2078 variety.
Both fitted into their respective locomotives and tested, working very well indeed.
But…come to change to address from 3 on both of them, neither wants to be changed. I’m changing to 5 & 7, so very short numbers. I’m using a Gaugemaster Prodigy 2 and prog and main tracks on a separate piece of track!
In the prog mode, I’m changing CV1 to 5 (or7)
In the main mode, I’m doing exactly the same. Neither work and both decoders are brand new with factory settings as standard.
So, please tell me what I’m doing wrong or is it down to the equipment I’m using? Where am I going wrong?
