Hi,

name is Klaus.

I am into continental 1 gauge, please don't shun me, if it's not G scale proper, but just as wide.

So far it has been Märklin Maxi. It's my first season outdoors, since I was joined by Else and Paul.

Hello Klaus,
Welcome to the Forum! We are pretty inclusive, and gauge 1 does run on the same track. :)

Once you have found your way around the Forum, you will discover we rather like pictures..

Enjoy!
PhilP.

Welcome Klaus! No need to apologise, you're running on 45mm track so that's just fine. ;)

I think many of us on here would love to see some photos....

Jon.

Edit: posted this before I saw Phil's almost identical comment! :D

Hello ,and welcome...looking forward to seeing your railway

Welcome Klaus, some of us are into Gauge 1 as well, I have 2 locomotives. 1 is a Terrier 0-6-0 that you may have heard of the other an LNER which is a very small 0-4-0. The Terrier has Battery DCC Sound on board Radio, currently pondering how I can do the other. It is very small. We do have another Gauge 1 exponent on the forum Jaime who lives quite a way from you, his work is superb. Look out for his posts, this is a link to one of his threads.

Nice locos, Klaus - that "Paul" tram loco looks very G scale to me, I assume it's a Regner one? :)

Jon.

A Regner she is. There is a thread in this forum where I shall present her. Most Tram locos were quite tiny even on narrow gauge. I felt she might look chunky but not completely out of place on my layout. The wooden beams are intended as a nod to British pugs.

Klaus, hello and welcome, some nice photos, but we want more :)
