Hi all I'm new to this Forum, I dont currently own any LGB but my friend phil did give me a digital controller, some track and 2 egg liners as they where unwanted. been visiting his friends garden railway every now and then for the last few years including helping with a open day, it would seem I'm getting more and more hooked every time I go.

I'm hoping to get myself a starter set within the next few months and hopefully ill be bringing it to some monthly North west group meets even tho its a starter loco.

I look forward to getting into this hobby as i have already been around it for years :D

Hi Kieran! Welcome to the madhouse. Greater Manc. covers a lot of ground, North, South, ect??? No need to be too specific if you're at all sensitive about it.

Hi G Force, I'm from the North East of Manchester, Oldham/Saddleworth area

Cheers Kieran. No need to be lonely then, there are a few of us up that way, just not me I'm sorry. My links are in the south, but no railway up there, just a very enthusiastic 5 yr old g/son.

Bob.

Hi Kieran,
I'm an Oldham lad, lived in Delph for a year or three. Now in Blackpool so if you're heading this way..........
Kim

Egg liners eh? Not the most usual way to start, speaking of which don't knock the starter kit locos, most of us kicked off with a Stainz and they run as well if not better than some of the bigger stuff.
Enjoy yourself here, ask plenty of questions and post an equal number of pictures! :hi:

Welcome to the forum Kieran.

Plenty of G scalers in your neck of the woods if you need help....

Hi Pugwash, i know egg liners are a weird way to start. I keep looking at the Sainz freight set with a green liverly as i feel it could run with a few more things compared to the black, I'll defiantly post questions if i have any. :)
