Hello from Dayton, Ohio, USA

Good to be here. Looks very interesting. I would like to participate in many of the topics and contribute as best as I can. I have been collecting mostly LGB European (Analog) since ‘90 while in the service. I had scant opportunities to do an outdoor layout until 2019 and my wife (head of plantings) and I (engineering) jumped in with both feet and are having a blast. We run trains throughout the year as it is a form of therapy for us.

I’ll upload photos later. Difficult to do now - at the airport! Could it be that there are some other users ‘round here?

Ha, snuck some photos in! We have lots of varied “wild” life which keeps it interesting. Enjoy!

Welcome to the forum @mockingbird812 , a few of us in here have dogs, some have cats, donkeys, birds and fish. I don't get frogs these days but lots of newts in my pond.

Welcome to the forum Sir.

There are a few of us veterans here too....

Welcome @mockingbird812 , great photos . We have a lot of frogs here , dug 2 out by accident today. Just getting a bucket of sand from a pile that's been sitting in the driveway for awhile.

Welcome to the forum Mockingbird. Looks a very nice set up you have. You'll be welcome to share more photos and chil in with any advice or questions. Just beware of the humour

I thoroughly enjoy British humor. I appreciate the warning and I will graciously ask you to be patient with my Yank sense of humor (obtuse?).
Oh are you ever in for some surprises.
Welcome from tiddly-tiny land and please keep up with the photographs, we all love photographs... and cake. :)

the obstinate one
looking at your pics, i get the impression, that someone is not so much obstinate, but very conscious, that the trains belong to the family pack.
