HARDWIRING A LOKSOUND L

TONYWARD50

Tadpole sexing</br>
Hi chaps,
The Loksound L is supplied with an adapter plate but it is too large to fit into my loco.
I need to hardwire to the board but can anyone give me a diagram for wiring the power, motor leads and front and rear lights only ?
The pins total 37 plus one blank so I need to get this right !

Regards,

Tony Ward

The factory manual only shows solder tab connections to the adapter plate, NOT which pins are which on the decoder itself, hence my predicament.
Thanks for the thought, though.

Tony

I think that diagram is of the adapter board Jon.

Tony,

You will have to trace out the adapter board.

geeze....

10 secconds with google:

Loksound L is I believe the package with the adapter board.

Look down the page, download the Loksound 4.0 manual (guessing since you did not give the decoder model and revision)

Then go through it, I'm guessing you have a Loksound XL decoder, and the pin connections are right there.

No Greg, the OP made it clear in the first post that he has an L but doesn't have room to use the adaptor board that came with it.....

Jon.

Dont think so Greg. The V4's have 18 pins. Tonywards' has 37!
