Good Axle guard casthings for IoM cars

Usually I scratchbuild in plastic styrene and in the past I have used built-up axle guards that I made myself or purchased in white-metal castings from a supplier here in the States. For some cars based on the IoM that I plan to build in wood I want to try and use some "better" axle boxes- I figure that the cars will still be cheap enough because I am building them myself that I can shell out a few quid for nice proper hardware.

However, living here across the pond means that I cannot just walk into a store and expect to find what I am looking for. I have seen companies such as Tenmille, Brandbright, and GRS but they leave me a bit confused.

Can someone here who has used some recommend them to me?

Thanks.
