South Park, Co. has some really good pics - some of the narrow gauge depot, and also a barber shop interior - just what I need. Many thanks for posting the site, Pete.

nice site

some very interesting places

worked my way thru CO< AZ<NM

south park, you know
is a small tourist attraction in Fairplay-basically a build up-with some originals and as noted, many transfers
it is fenced in and you pay an admission fee

i can recall when it wasnt there at all -it is right along the main street into Fairplay toward the old Fairplay hotel (now closed about5-6 years i thin-used to go there after climbs for great 'middle american food' and cheap drink)

that might be the old Alma depot
the water tower is somebodys idea without spending too much -not a real one

but interesting
i liked calico CA and Jerome AZ
st elmo CO is also pretty cool-on the old DSPand P at the foot of the grade up to the alpine tunnel-deep in the Collegiate range-nice thing about many of these places -no tourist ineterst to speak of so no investment and things stay old

central city and blackhawk CO were tresure troves of once rich and well developed mine towns with great RR history, now virtually erased due to gambling casinos-all that was old is gone-literally only the shells of building remain-everything else is new
really looks like that and is how it was, as is the entire area around there

this site really does show what its like out in the west-still!
