An on-board view of the Blagdon & Butcombe Light Railway, showing the line from the Drivers point of view. The video shows the challenging route the Garden Railway takes, including sharp curves, narrow cuttings and of course the suspension bridge, crossing one of the ponds.
At the helm of the train is the Live Steam Regner Konrad, a simple 1 cylinder oscillating engine. Also being a geared engine, means she can cruise along a leisurely speed, perfect for the railway.
