G1 continential live steam models

Hi All,
I am a gauge 1 modeller (German Marklin models so far) and I would like to get into live steam with a reasonably prices second hand model. I am only looking at continential models, preferably German.
Probably my option would be a older Aster engine like BR78, BR86, BR01 something similar. I have been monitoring W&C gauge 1 section but noting else.
Looking for German models in UK is not bad as the prices are good, but not much comes around lately. Last few was sold before I could react.
What can you recommend? Where should I be looking?

i know its not much help but a recently sent this to France it sold for £1500 i have seen a few since selling for much the same but being they are £4500 new thats a hell of a loss

Thanks Tony. I know about Marklin live steam as well. Once told that they are less refined but still very nice models. I have seen same BR44 few years ago at Leamington Spa. At least it can negotiate tight curves.
