Front lights on, when going backwards.

I have just fitted a Massoth XLS in to a Piko 218. The lights turn on and off OK, but when on the front lights stay on even in reverse - the back lights work fine.
I have checked that the CV51 is set for direction of travel only, 128 (rather than in both directions or reverse). I even changed it to 0 and back again just to see - but no change.
I have reduced the voltage for the leds (But it looks like Piko have loaded the wiring with resistors any way) so I dont think the problem is here.

Any ideas?

Using the principle of asking the obvious questions first, just to get them out of the way - there's no chance that you've actually wired the front lights to the interior (cab light) terminal ("Li-I") on the XLS instead of to the front/vor "Li-V" terminal, is there, Alan?

Jon.

Thanks John but no. But I will double check in case a stray thread of wire is making contact.
