Fitting Massoth LED lighting to RhB coaches - fitting and bulbs

I have just acqured a mint condition LGB RhB dining car 30680. As the existing bulbs are 5V and I run digital I want to upgrade the lighting by adding a Massoth 8122302 lighting strip in place of the fitted item. I will also be replacing the table lamp bulbs with 24V versions but am happy to lhave these controlled by the underbody switch, rather than via the DCC strip.

I have two questions:
1. There are only two screw holes in the roof and they do not align with those in the lighting strip, apart from in one position. In that position one of the holes that aligns is larger than the screw head. I have fettled this by using a washer, but it's a bodge and may not hold in the long run. I could glue but I dislike making screw-fit parts into permanent ones. Question: How have others addressed this problem?
2. Is anybody aware of an OEM source for the 24V bulbs for the table lamps? They are grain of wheat size but the only grain of wheats I can find don't have the rigid wires needed to push fit into the table lamp fittings. I don't believe that LGB/Maerklin would have bulbs tailor made for them (although anything is possible).

Any help appreciated, as always.

For the fixing, a dab of hot-melt adhesive, as this can be peeled off..

Bulbs:
Why bother changing them?
A small cheap bridge rectifier, and 5-6V regulator, will very probably be cheaper than the pack of replacement bulbs.

Absolutely true but in this model the kitchen insert sits where I would need to put the rectifier and regulator and there’s little room to work. I’m not convinced I can even get the connectors off in the space available let alone get them back on again. So changing bulbs is the least bad option, for me at least, being pretty clumsy. Although if I could source them direct (my second question) that might save a couple of quid. Thanks for the glue gun tip.
