Ffestiniog colours

Due to Christmas generosity I need to select coach colours for my railway. For no better reason that I like it, does anyone know what colours the Ffestiniog use for the main coach in this photo please?

Does anyone know if Phoenix Paints do a matching colour (I can't see one under Ffestiniog, but they may have used another railway colour).

Looks rather LMS crimson from the picture.
 
Yeah I think it looks LMS Crimson aswell.
It is a lovely colour scheme, thats why i'm painting my coaches like that :thumbup:

EDIT: I think the colour scheme is sometimes referred to as carmine and cream?
 
Carmine and Cream is correct.

Blood and custard would result in a different shade of red.
 
If you use the Phoenix BR Crimson and Cream you won't get a colour scheme like that. The Cream is alot greener and the Carmine is alot bluer than that pic (i've tried it) In the end i went for BR Crimson and White.

If you want to use Halfords car aerosols use Rover Damask Red and try Renault White 348 for the cream, it is a subtle pale cream, although may be a bit brown for the cream you are after.
 
I have decided on the new Humbrol acrylic real railway colours range in carmine and pulman cream. Will post photo of completed coach!!
