'Fall' (well a british version of it - almost) at Sycamore Creek

Hi,

We do not generally manange the American 'Fall' here in the England. But this year we managed a small version of it - the weather (generally too much rain) stayed fine and the temperature dropped sufficiently to make the maples give a good set of warm colors.

Todays weather at least managed to stay mostly fine (though misty) so I had the camera out to record the result, a bit like the photos I have seen - the maples were bought to produce something like the effect and have managed a passable result. Miniature Aspens, or their close cousins Birch trees, I have not managed to find.

The sky was as a result still a bit dark and certainly no sun whatsoever so the computer managed a bit of adjustment to assist in 'adding' the sun slightly.

Here are the results,

This last one highlights the grey building in the centre is off its foundations slightly - oooops! no doubt as a result of my great big (to scale) feet hitting it slightly: it has now been replaced in the correct postion!

Enjoy.

Great colours you have managed to capture there. The leaves are pretty much on the ground here now, and that is if you can see them through the lingering mist that has been here for 24hrs now.

Very nice. Like the first pic particularly.

Very nice pix Peter....
