Hi all,
A while back I aquired a ESU LoksoundXL and a ESU programmer with the intention of installing it in Thomas. I decided upon the ESU as you can add your own sounds and was intent with adding various "Thomas" related sounds just like other here on GSC.
Well fitting the decoder was childs play (well I did fall back on Cliff's thread on the subject), altering the CVs...not a problem but whenever i try to add a stock sound all I get after a little while is "Error, unable to upload sound" or something similar. I have tried several times, even directly connecting the decoder to the programmer and that still didnt work.
Does anyone have any ideas what I am doing wrong?
Also, to those who have added their own sounds to a ESU decoder...what software did you use to "rip" the sounds from the original? Any pointers would be great.
