Well after writing in another topic about lack of scratchbuilt and kit built locos I finally finished engine number 29 its taken 12 months to build and to be honest was one of the most complex locos I have ever built I take my hat off to Roundhouse, of their live steam model as its not an easy engine to design and construct !!!! Please not a mass of live steam models on this topic and please do not take offence lets see everyone scratchbuilt efforts of this loco !!! or similar ! The loco uses an old toy train chassis not what I originally planned as I wanted outside frames but could not obtain the chassis I wanted . so had to settle for the toytains chassis Its a good runner so here are the piccs ! I live very near the old Penrhyn Railway and Have been brought up with Linda and Blanche on the Festiniog Linda being the favourite !! I have done her in sudo Lined black as I am disappointed that she has not been put back into this livery in her last overhaul shame ! well enjoy ad do ask questons
