My first LGB loco looked exactly like that - cost around £40 in 1978 or perhaps 1977.

I still have it - didn't realise it commanded that sort of money though!

Oh, and the second picture, the item looks like a glazed earthenware soil-pipe to me. - Especially as it has 'Doulton Limited Lambeth' stamped into it!!
