Early evening, new benchwork tests

My daughter has a bunch of fun playing trains with me. By far her favorite part is putting her 3d printed characters in the different boxcars.

Those LGB Caterpillar diesels are stump pullers. Two together can probably do a good job of clearing a forest.....

I had to move my table setup to a different portion of the yard. And, since I HAD to move it, I HAD to build two more sections. I hope to get some elevation changes later this week.

My big dog Moon was very content to steal my testing chair, so I had to bring over a second one for me to use towards the end of the day.

Lovely dog, clearly likes watching trains.

I know it's work in progress, but are you going to fit a barrier around the set up to prevent nasty dives?
Hadn't really thought about it? My last big layout was on shelves at the ceiling of my basement. But the intrinsic nature of a table that can be bumped is a different situation.

Perhaps some sort of protective railing would be in order when the subsurface is laid!
