While at Coggesrail`s open day I was shown an Accucraft Porter loco. I have only seen the standard catalogue picture up till then and thought `not for me`. Then having seen one up close and personal, so to speak, I was smitten. On to Ebay I went and found a `used/new` one for sale on a BIN + best offer. Seemed a fair price with postage. I offered and it was accepted and on its way to me swiftly. Arrived the other day and what `dinky` little loco it is, perfectly as described. The crew at the West Well Lumber Co. got it to work straight away on some yard duties. Looks right at home. Max.

'Does my cab look big in this?'

There seems a lot of cab, and a little bit of boiler.. ;) ;D

I was expecting something by Dinky (diecast)! ;)

They do look attractive though!

Don't forget you still have to get humans in the cab, albeit small humans in this case ;D If you study main line motive power and compare it to yard duty locos, it seems the yard duty locos are out of proportion sometimes.

And I thought 'Dinky Porter' was the rear-gunner on the Enola Gay!?? :o ??? ;) ;)

Well done Max! Looks great!
Mine is completely stripped down for a partial respray & R/C convesion.
I am also changing the motor from 24v to a 12v one to improve its speed.
