I had this hair-brained idea a while back to kitbash a Ford F-350 for my son's 5th birthday. Trying to make it look like my flatbed (which he loves to ride in):
After an extensive search, I found this:

Very reasonably priced, I thought (at the time). The cab is a little shorter, but I could live with it. So I drew up the bed in Sketchup, and ultimately had it made in brass. Spent way more time, and more money than I'll admit, but here's what I came up with. His birthday is this weekend, and I'm giving it to him after Grandma & Grandpa come over for lunch (he hasn't seen it yet).
