As (I think?) you can get them without the face I would imagine a spare part should be available from Bachmann.Just wondering if anyone has come across a more realistic 3D printed replacement grille for the diesel.
I am just about to receive miine thanks to a really good deal with Amazon and will be converting it to battery R/C very soon.
I'll bet somebody has 3D printed one - in fact someone on this forum 3D printed two models of the entire locoAs (I think?) you can get them without the face I would imagine a spare part should be available from Bachmann.
Dumb question #1 of the day - wouldn’t that count as a copyright infringement?I'll bet somebody has 3D printed one - in fact someone on this forum 3D printed two models of the entire loco
In the UK (not sure about ROW) can copyright a registered trade name but not a shape. If you were to copy the actual molding then you would only have to make minor alterations, say motor block mounts, to be in the clear.
