Last week was a bad time for derailments. Here?s pictures of the three derailments in one day and a couple from years past.

My red Garratt was hauling a long line of 4-wheelers when the last wagon came off at a turnout. The whole train SLOWLY cascaded off the raised baseboard, each wagon pulling the next one. Luckily I was near the loco to grab it. No damage to any wagons.

Similarly at the same turnout, but no wagons fell to the ground

The poor Shay went so close to tumbling down!

An old disaster where the red Garratt really suffered damage.

The red Garratt ran into the back of the stationary tank loco?s train.

It?s amazing that the red Garratt features in 3 of these.

I even got a video of this crash?

Maybe others would like to add to the gallery ?

wow that garratt's been a nuisance... what do you suppose is wrong ?

And i thought it was Percy that had trouble some trucks :rolf:
Have had a few run away trains on my grades which tend to end up in a pile on the lawn but no pics of these .

Went for a steamup to Annieshalt two weeks ago with me new Accucraft Leader.Went to pull into a siding and the engine hit a wobbly bit of track.Instead of going into the siding,it went over the side ,complete with it's train.Luckly a piece of wire from the damaged fence that it went through caught round it's connecting rod about a foot from a flagstone.......Phweeee!!!!

I could have sworn it landed on and smashed a solar lamp

and whilst you stood there taking photos it slowly slipped off the wall and fell in the pond? :rolf::rolf:

It is one reason why I have held off raising my track.
The highest point on mine is one short section about 3" above a concrete path.
On its first run my Accucraft Caledonia took a nosedive at that spot and bent a corner of the cab roof.:wits:

What sort of doggey was it then steve?

Why a Pointer of course:rolf::rolf::rolf:

Erm, why were you running two identical locos (with twins at the helm) tender first with only one carriage in tow? Or did the coach do a truly spectacular nose-dive-and-bounce? :callme:

Actually I think the first pic is up for captioning: what is the driver saying?

They were propeling the coach "Hey we had a coach on our train like that one!"

Took me eye off the ball and it all went a bit pair shaped
