Dennis B type bus

tramcar trev

all manner of mechanical apparatus...
This is 1:24 but I thought it may look ok parked along the road next to the row of terrace houses. You would have to look to see it. Probably around 1920? and would have to be Australianised, what do y'all think? I also like the bakers van but they are 1:10 and would not fit in.

What scale are your trams? They must be close. It's a nice looking kit.

At OcCre we design each of our models with the same illusion that you have when assembling and making up the model.
I like it! Is that the illusion "Easy, I can do this."? [e]356[/e]

I like the German wagon model. The detail is amazing. Difficulty: medium. Can I do this? Ahhhmmm... no.

Better that than Austracised Trev. ;) ;D

Wos it made of plastic?

Nice model. I see that the LT Museum has temporarily repainted one in Khaki green to commemorate (and visit the Continent) the 1st WW.

they didi a tram too, i think, its made of wood.. i think.. ???

Probably sent to Coventry... Its laser cut wood. The ideal gift for someone who has everything apart from maybe a phonless cord...

No prices, but check Occre on eBay for the best price, not cheap but the quality is long remembered after the cost has been forgotten....

Ah, the number 14!

It would be familiar to both minimans (even though he's now in California) and myself, as we both formerly lived in Putney.

The 14 route still goes from Putney Bridge to Tottenham Court Road, as shown on the destination board of the old Dennis open-top.

A "B" class at £115 doesn't seem toooo bad, considerin' the detail. Might try and wheedle "Trousers" into getting me one. ;) ;D

Odd why the have a 'Basket' on the site and no means of adding things to it. :-\ :-\

Do a Youtube search, see if you can find a "How to build it" video, some of the cast whitemetal details look like they need a clean up...

Everything I have clicked on so far has prices, Trains, trams, bus... There is a big red "Add to cart" button, too. But you have to click on an individual item first, where you get a lot of detail and pix.

I went in off the linky above, but even when I clicked on the item there was no price, or way of ordering. Weird!

Edit.

Just gone on straight off Google and still no different. Perhaps it doesn't like me! :'( :'( :'( :'(

They are cheaper than I found on evilbay. That motorisation kit is a bit steep, and it doesn't seem to quote a track gauge is it adjustable?

Cheers, I couldn't find it on there either. but as noted before, for some reason their site doesn't seem to load properly here (settings??).
