For all of our USA friends, has anybody seen these super metal die cast models? They vary from the 50's to the present day, they have opening doors and bonnet and trunk with lots of detail. The best bit is they retail for $9:99 ! ( plus the wonderful US tax!)
The bad part is that I can only fit 3 into my luggage!!!

Easy, they'll be £19.95 plus VAT and $320.75 shipping if the usual UK taxes and 'delivery charges' apply... :/

I got those models and others from a guy who used to do american trucks and emergency vehicles.
He tended to have one of each model and only ordered them in when he sold the one he had in stock.
I can't find his website at the moment.
There is an ebay seller (charlieccu) who has expanded his range quite a lot but his prices were very reasonable but are now about £20 + for each vehicle.
example:

Sometimes there are good deals on ebay under american 1:24 or 1:25....or for those doing 1:20.3 and 16mm there are quite a few at 1:18 scale which don;t look too out of place if positioned well

go to First Gear releases and then into ertl etc etc

Just been through the site and though there is a 2017 date on the site there is a lot of stuff on there that is the same as when I last used it a few years ago. In fact I think Mike - beaver creek - bought the last REA cab over from them about seven or eight years ago and it's still showing as - which it is! - sold out. If you're tempted by anything I would send a contact message first or call them. 01769 550279

Can confirm the site is still active!!;)
