Hi
Due to the size limitations of the site, I am having to compress photos to enable me to upload.
The initial photo when uploaded looks awful, However, looks ok when ‘clicked on’
I don’t see this with most photos on here, and wonder what I am doing wrong?
Any help gratefully accepted as I have a large amount of stock to sell and would prefer a decent initial image.
Thanks,
Richard

Some years back I had to modify all of my pictures to fit in the forum, then changes in forum software made sure that all except some screen shots worked as taken. Not sure what you are using to take your pics but I can imagine if you are using a high end canera with max resolution you will be creating big files that the forum does not accept. In truth a lower res image will look fine on a Pc, Mac, iPad or even iPhone screen yes Android phone as well. Most of my pictures in here taken on my iPhone or iPad.

Thanks for your reply,
I have deleted my previous compressed photo and upload the original which is 3.4mb and it has worked this time!!
I have posted a few photos on different threads over the past couple of weeks and they were rejected as oversized. Very peculiar!

In case this can help I have a Canon Eos camera with high resolution but I use "PIXresizer" to reduce my photographs, it is simple to use and is free to use.

Thanks!
I’m able to upload photos from my phone now, although I couldn’t at first.
