Collector style events in June

Brixham

No buffers were hurt at this sign

Two events for your calendar....

No G gauge this year, but a close ally in gauge 3, a monster layout some 20 x 60 feet.
As well as the usual smaller ( 1 to N ) gauges.
A great day out....and vintage vehicles too.

Here's the show report from 2023 Joint Show report 2023

Another super show, no indoor G gauge, but a specially set up on the day, G gauge layout perhaps 30 x 50 feet.
Indoors, usually Bowman live steam, plus 'collector' style layouts in the smaller gauges. Hands on Lego for children to play with.
About a 10 minute walk from the Mid Hants railway station.

Update from Gaydon show getting ready for tomorrow’s show....

Bare tables....4CF45EB8-3FCF-4EDD-B2D7-578639139116.jpeg4CF45EB8-3FCF-4EDD-B2D7-578639139116.jpeg

Spotted on one traders table, a box of around 100 LGB figures at 1.50 each, or four for a fiver. I know where I’m going first thing tomorrow!

Also set up by 1800 today, a Triang UK outline on Super 4 track, and Triang TC on standard track. A HO US outline multi level layout, with HO slot trucks. The road traffic halts at the level crossings when the trains cross. Expected for 1000 tomorrow, another 10 or so including Trix, tinplate..might be O, might be 1, American O tinplate, apparently N, and loads more.
It’s a grey day tomorrow, no excuse for not coming along, and looking at the vehicles in the Motor Museum

Was thinking of going along, then when I looked at where it is not far from Banbury decided no way. Too long to leave Poppy. Thought Gaydon was between Rugby and MK, how wrong can one be?

Unfortunately (?)
Committed to going to Lamport and Northampton railway today..
A Class 31, and possibly a small tank loco running, plus a marquee of model railways..

We could fall out you know, how about a nice stroll instead? You'll have clearer, healthy air and get there quicker :D

They are making a 'thing' about the weathered tank engine, on the other end. - Picture later..
You can nearly read the number on it!
