Cheap Track?

Might be like ?ECR? where they put a silly price on when they have not got stock? - Maybe??

There is a listing with a picture of lots of Bachmann 'bits' (different seller), with a cheap price.. The description goes on to say you are bidding on only a fraction of that pictured..
There are several similar pictured items, all have the same (or similar) title, but are for different bits from the picture..

Have reported it, but the automated responses are not really correct for this type of sharp practice.

Whew !!! I would have not had a railway if I had seen prices like that when I started one.

OMG - I'm rich. Just need to find a buyer! And, of course, it's no use outside! (well not for a garden railway as we know it).

It is common practice on eBay, and is done to avoid paying a new listing fee when they sell out of something. Rather than remove the listing and then pay again to relist when the item is back in stock, they just increase the price to something so ridiculous nobody will ever buy it. Once they have more stock, they reduce the price again.
