Yep, I'm at it again.
I want to change the Decoder inside this loco to an ESU XL. Why? Well, I prefer the sounds made by ESU, as the LGB ones are partly generic, and a little limited. Also I have fitted ESU into the RhB Tractor and now that ESU provides the correct CV settings as well, the loco runs very slowly and very smoothly.
So, back to the Ge4/4III.....I am happy with wiring for power pickup, motor, lights and sound. What I am unsure about is how to make the pantographs work with a press of a control button on my Massoth Dimax Navigator. Is there a circuit board within this loco that I can leave in and somehow connect to the ESU ?
Any help here would be appreciated, chaps.
Regards
