Starting about a week ago I can no longer find the Reply box when I read a message on a member's posting. I can still post a New Tread but can't find a way to post any replies to member's postings. I tried the various Internet search engines I have installed and they all do the same thing. I even just checked to see if I temporarily disconnect my McAfee LiveSafe anit-virus software that I recently installed, and still no success. Anybody experience this issue and have a solution?

Check that you are still logged in..... if there is a Log In prompt on the home page, then you ain't logged in, and can't reply to anything.

Yes, I'm logged in through the Forums page. Again, I can post a new tread but I can't find the "reply" icon on anyone else's postings on a Thread. Interestingly, however, on my own posting for this subject that I posted today, I do find the Reply icon "Post reply" or under your posting "Reply". Go figure!?

Greg - I've already tried the different browsers on my PC to no avail. But I may have found the issue. I just tried to Login on the Forums page and first used my User Name "LGB333" and password. I got a response "Wrong Password" so tried it two more times, got the same. So I then used my email address with my same password and I was able to login. It then shows me as Member "LGB333." Do you think that's the problem, some conflict in my account between my User Name (LGB333), email address, and my password?

By the way, when I start a Tread like this one, I CAN post replies, like I did to your message.

Update #1 (12-28-18): I just tried to change my password. As I mentioned, I couldn't login using my UserName LGB333.......stated Wrong Password. So I had to Login using my email address and the same password, and it worked, and then shows that LGB333 is logged in. So, since I was logged in, I thought I'd change my password, but it's asked for my current password, and when I put it in, it indicates "Wrong Password." So, there's definitely something wrong with my account, User Name v. email v. password. What should I do to fix it?

Udate #2 (12-29-18): I was finally able to change my password by letting the system email me with the password change........I didn't have to enter my old password for User LGB333.......and it worked. So now my User Name, LGB333 and my email address both use the same password. But I still can't respond to member's postings, still only allows me to post a Thread, and then I can Reply to those postings, but none others. I even allowed "cookies" to be used by the Website and still no success. I'm wondering if it's the new McAfee SafeGuard Virus Protection software I recently installed on this PC. I'll try logging in using a laptop that doesn't have that McAfee software on it and report back the results.

Thanks to everyone who offered suggestions to fix this problem. Okay, I've tried everything, including logging into this forum site using two other laptops, all to no results. One of those laptops did not have my new McAfee Virus & Firewall software installed, so I can rule that out as the issue. So, my conclusion is that my forum account is damaged and I'll need to cancel it and register again.

Normally I would have expected our all seeing Administrator to have weighed in on this by now, he might be away however. I’ll PM him to draw his attention to the issue; regrettably I personally have no idea what the problem might be.

Thanks for your help. It may get their attention when I ask them to cancel my registration, so I can then reregister with a new User Name etc.

Thanks for contacting the Forum Administrator. I had sent him a message a few days ago about the problem but sometimes it takes another person, like you, to intervene. The Administrator then fixed it! I can now see and use "Reply" buttons on all the Forum's postings!!! I was feeling like I was being "locked out" from participating in the Forum's discussions. Here's the Forum Administrator's message to me: " Hi. Try a reply to a post, i reset everything on the whole forum to see if that makes a difference. Paul"

Thanks again for your assistance and the other member's help. If this issue occurs again with any other Forum member, now the Administrator and the rest of us know it's possibly the Forum system needs a reset!

"Have you tried turning it off, and turning it back on again?"

Big-time, by the sounds of it!! :rofl::rofl::rofl:

Clad you are sorted. :clap::clap::clap:
