Just saw this and thought it might be of interest to some of the folks on here who prefer British outline stuff....

It doesn't seem like railway modelling is one of the seller's strong points (mind you, neither is spelling.... ;) ), I'm assuming that he's thought it's an LGB item because that's what it says under the motor block. Still, looks like a halfway decent scratchbuild that has some potential if the price doesn't go silly?

I've been looking at it and trying to figure out what donor the motor block is from..... it's an old clamshell, but from which loco - an early Mallet, or maybe a Harz 2-6-2 with the trailing axle removed? The cylinders have almost certainly been relocated at a different angle, or possibly completely scratchbuilt.

I didn't think of a mallet as the donor, but might very well be. It is indeed an older motor block.
