I did find the size of a full size ?Beware of the trains last night and to scale it would be 25x17 so I suppose 30x18 is not to far away . Thanks for the link not quite what I was after I would only use 2 signs out of 8 :) I know there was somebody else that sold the Beware of trains sign but can't find them now I want some ..

Decided to have a play with my 3D printer last night, I didn't think I could print text small enough got it down to 5mm text, it came out better than I thought it would. I can live with them as they cost next to nothing to make :)

Excellent result. You may have told us this before but which 3d printer do you have? I keep meaning to have a dabble. Thanks, Dave

It's an Anycubic I3 Mega inside a home built printing chamber made from IKEA coffee tables :) , not a recommendation, just the one I decided to buy as it was on a lightning deal on Amazon so it came at the right price, plus I liked it's reviews.

I agree, very impressive result. Any lack of resolution would not be apparent except in close up photography. And you can now pick and choose the messages you want,

Was looking at one of these as well, what software you using with it? Understand about the file types it takes and the use of SD Cards to get file to the beast. Am pretty ok with 2d Cad but getting my head around 3d could take a while so some little jobs like this sound like a gold way to start.

I am spoilt for Software I use autocad and 3ds Max but that's what I do for a living build things in 3D :) The slicing software is Cura.
