The battery pack is one that can have 4 x AA cells inserted. A 9v PP3 is required for the handset. Note no batteries supplied with this. You could of course use NiMh instead. The only issue to report with this is that at some stage in its life before I got it the there have been figures glued into the seats and a few scuffs on the bodywork. Where the pans were fitted has a piece of Plasticard glued on to hide the holes. Driver present at one end. No Pans with Plasticard glued to where they would be. Runs well.
Ideal set for Kids to use or as a starter before you get round to track cleaning.
