Not sure this is best part of the forum for this question, but does anyone know of any fonts that simulate the blocked and shaded 3D look of railways like LNER? Looking for something to print some decals with.
As Garry says. I use Word Art for many things. The shading is in the 3D section after first selecting font and wording. I typed in LNER, select colours and shading and then copied and pasted a further 3 times.
Then I deleted NER, moved up one of the copies, deleted LER, pulled the N to right width, then placed it alongside the L. and so on (this gives the spacing you require between letters.
I tried to copy and paste into here but it wouldn't allow, so printed out, scanned into MS Picture it and saved as a JPEG.
Its lost some of its colour printing on to plain paper, etc.
Hi - should have made a note of the font I used. It was mainly the style of the 'E'. Once I'd got the basic letters, I scrolled through at least half the fonts to find the most suitable!
