Well it's me birthday today! so here's my present to myself! You may remember i just got a Magnus boxcar and this was from the same source as recompense for the poor service on the 1st one....................$200 including postage so a bargain as well..............................Paul...............

Thank you boys it's been a good one so far! Steve yes it's real wood on the platforms and the whole thing is very delicate but looks fantastic. I'll try to get a picture later of both cars together...Paul.....
 
Happy day Paul. Lovely detail in the tanker. Magnus make terrific stuff. I nearly got a K36 made by them. It looked superb, better detailing than Accucraft.

Did you get the car from Watts up in Indy? I ask as they had quite the collection of Magnus on auction.
 
Yes it was from Watts they had them on Ebay as being new, when I got my boxcar it was obviously not new but used (had wear on the wheels not just from standing) they took almost a month to get it too me and refunded the shipping because of the delay and asked what I wanted to do about the boxcar not being as described so I told them sell me the tank car for $200.00 inc shipping and we would call it good. trouble is it still took almost a month to ship this one to me...........................Oh well it worked out good in the end though as I wouldn't have been able to buy this one for the $450 they were asking for it....................Paul.............
