> natural stone masonry roller - for 48 € - just roll over the wet concrete and you "emboss" the stone pattern

Will certainly need some fancy wiring with all those Live Frogs, would even need to be wired via 3 Separate Frog Juicers if any existed for our Power requirements.

Those frogs look pretty dead and isolated to me. Take a look under the magnifying glass. Just had to ditch the frog juicers on my 009 test layout as they were not suitable for non DCC use (even though the rep' told me they would work :banghead:) Max

Translation of details for 3YP.

The course length is 465 mm. This means that valuable gains in the area of usable track length can be made in the station area. It serves the R3 radius of LGB and trainline = 1195 mm.
The two inccable drives in the picture are not included, but show the installation possibilities. Here, of course, electric drives can also be utilism.bwohl only about 320 mm long,

It is equipped with polarizable massive brass pieces and cast tongues. These are faithfully attached to the outer rails. For the finish process, you can use our hand levers or any other LGB compatible drive, whether mechanical or electric.

With our 5914 switch, you can polarize the centrepiece.

It appears that the frogs are made of brass and the polarity is switched by positioning of the blades....

I read that to mean the frogs are dead but can be energized, with the required polarity, by wiring in the 05914 switch. My GRS pointwork looks similar, including a double slip. The frogs are dead on those with buss bars underneath completing the circuits either side of the frog(s) to whichever path it is switched to. It does not matter which way the point is set the exiting paths are both always "live", no point blades involved. Max

Does it come with the
Uraltedelschnulzensynthesizergags

sound module?
:giggle::giggle:

(Sorry Andreas, was brought up listening to many of his LP's..). :)

That is what I was meaning, possibly 3 Switches required and some fancy Coupling up. My understanding was that Frog Juicers only work with DCC so perhaps your man just was not sure of what he was talking about. Have to say the 3 on my Coal Mine Layout have worked perfectly since they were installed. Though I had to get a bit clever on the use of them over a Crossover with Double Slip incorporating 3 live frogs. 1 of each juicer as they need to be separated in case a long Loco straddles more than 1 Frog using the same juicer.

What do veggies think about juicing frogs?

Yeah, the rep who said frog juicers would work on DC should be removed from your "list of knowledgeable people" :wasntme:

The rep in question represents one of the largest model railway distributors we have in the UK. I only queried it as nothing in the installation manual referred to DC, when the frog juicer was offered as a solution for my "electrofrog" points polarity switching, although I clearly stated it was for a DC environment. What can you do ? A call to the distributor's technical department confirmed my suspicions, manifested by being stuck at one polarity. On another, 009 oriented, forum the resident "expert" insisted they could not get fixed on one polarity - oh yes they can - although the scenario was fully explained....3 times. The distributor said they would have a word with the rep. My local shop owner said, "That's not the first time he's done that to me. He's a bit slapdash". The owner was standing there when I asked the question and the rep replied but did not contest the information, I despair :banghead: My local shop market themselves as a DCC specialist (their e-mail handle reflects this) ! This is all to do with my naecent 009 indoor layout. I installed a couple of SPDT switches to do the job. DCC is still very much off the radar outdoors. Max

Oh no, he sells so many usefull bits that would look so nice on my layout. I wonder if I could arrange for us to have a holiday which ‘accidentally’ means we can visit one of the exhibitions he attends?

All you have to do is go to the Llanfair show.... he's been there as a trader for about the last three years. Each year I've put in a pre-order with him to collect at the show, as he doesn't bring everything he makes - in particular, if you want some of his track and points then they need to be pre-ordered.

Jon.

Thanks Zerogee, that’s a good idea - a weekend in Wales that just happens to coincide with the Welshpool show.
