Like others before I'd like to try to recycle some well-used track.
In my case enough lengths of 3rd? hand Aristo code 332 8ft - 10ft (R3 plus) curves to make most of a circle that I'd like to see relieved to about 14ft - 15ft diameter (r = 2100/2250, nearly R5). And yes I have read everything on here about bending track.
Is this not a clear-cut case for using a track-bender (both rails at once to a fairly consistent, defined radius) as opposed to rail-bender (Suck it and See - lots of tries)?
If so what's the best way to get hold of one for a couple of weeks only? There have previously been mentions of the possibilility of GSM/GSC UK members loaning/hiring/cost-sharing. Did any of these ideas get off the ground?
