Beavercreek day out ...the sequel

Hi Steve
The three truck shay comes with sound and is about £670 or so new, about £350 to £400 used
The one behind is a two truck shay which is not produced any more but may still be available from some shops. It should be about £375 or so new and maybe £250 to £300 used depending on what age it is. Watch ebay or even here as they pop up pretty frequently
They are cheaper if you buy them from the States but you have to add on shipping costs and 20% VAT.

Excellent pictures of a fantastic railway, I do like those RDC's. Thanks for sharing.

Well it is over a year later now and today was a chilly but pleasant one. I had an hour and got out the little Climax that usually plies the 'Quarry/Gravelworks shuttle line and put her to work around the mainline. She took to it like a duck to water and had a ball.
Here are a few shots of her and a couple back on her familiar territory

She climbed up the incline to Arbour Summit pulling a few log cars and a caboose with lighting wheel pick ups, and she didn't miss a beat

Hi Roly
She is a Bachmann one but an early model. Still a beautiful runner with intact bogies etc.
